Tynker

Tynker is an educational programming platform aimed at teaching children how to make games and programs. Instead of typing the source code, you visually drag blocks of code and snap them together.  Tynker offers self-paced online courses for children to learn coding at home, as well as an engaging programming curriculum for schools and camps.

During my time at Tynker I redesign our core product, the sandbox creation engine and IDE. I worked with the game designer and course creators to create easier to use and more engaging course pages. I also designed the iPad and Andriod tablet apps to bring Tynker to the mobile marketplace.
